Mosquitoes lay eggs in water, and babies resemble small, wriggling worms
About the Tiger Mosquito
After emerging from the water, male mosquitoes feed on natural juices, such as those in plants. Females are parasitic and seek blood to help provide additional nutrients to her eggs after mating.
Mosquitoes typically stay within a half mile radius of their breeding sites, but some species have been known to fly further for food. They are vectors of disease, capable of sharing bacteria between several hosts.
Tiger Mosquito Control
Mosquitoes are a large problem in and around the Southeast, especially during the summer months. Help yourself by removing all standing water from around your property, and keeping dense foliage, piled leaves and rotting wood to a minimum.
